Monday 9th March 8pm

A film from Norway with English subtitles

Sentimental Value has received nine Oscar nominations. It tells

the story of estranged sisters Nora and Agnes, who reunite with their once-famous director father, Gustav, after their mother's death, he tries to revive his career with a personal film project, casting a Hollywood star (Elle Fanning) when Nora (Renate Reinsve) refuses a role, leading to confrontations about art, legacy, and family trauma, blending humour and heartbreak

Runtime 2 Hour 13

A highly commendable movie that’s hard to pin down. Sentimental Value is comical, and doesn’t end unhappily, but there is genuine pain and drama, but played through ordinary conversations between fairly extraordinary people.

A powerful, draining experience that lingers long after the credits, SENTIMENTAL VALUE is beautifully acted, emotionally intense, and visually striking, with standout performances across the cast.
